14U Simmers took their chances in an 18U tournament and came out on top!!

Invasion 14U 2007 entered an 18U tournament this past weekend and went 4-0 only giving up 4 runs on the weekend.

Invasion Fastpitch 14U sailed to an easy victory over Diamond Divas 18U 11-2 on Sunday. Invasion Fastpitch 14U got on the board in the first inning. Invasion Fastpitch 14U scored one run when Jillian McTamney singled. Invasion Fastpitch 14U put up four runs in the third inning. Invasion Fastpitch 14U big bats were led by Abby Simmers, McTamney, and Emily Markowski, who all drove in runs. Maci Strechay got the start for Invasion Fastpitch 14U. The righthander lasted five innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out six and walking one. Invasion Fastpitch 14U racked up 11 hits on the day. Simmers, McTamney, and Madison Isbrecht all managed multiple hits for Invasion Fastpitch 14U. Simmers went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Invasion Fastpitch 14U in hits. Invasion Fastpitch 14U was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Cather Sydney Hockenbrock made the most plays with seven.
